Menopause Mastery
50-Hour Menopause Yoga Teacher Training
Menopause doesn't need gentler yoga. It needs better-informed teachers. Go beyond symptom-based teaching and understand why the body changes, so every practice becomes safer, more meaningful and more effective.
Menopause Is Not an Ending. It Is a New Physiology.
It reaches into hormones, bones, metabolism, sleep, mood, the heart and the nervous system — yet it remains one of the least understood life stages in yoga education.
women worldwide will be menopausal or postmenopausal by 2030 — an estimated 50 million reaching menopause every year.
Source: World Health OrganizationMost yoga teacher trainings prepare teachers for younger women — not for women moving through menopause. It's covered in an afternoon, if at all, so teachers graduate without the grounding they need for one of the biggest hormonal transitions a woman goes through.
This training closes that gap. You'll study the science first — Hormonal Physiology, Bone Health, Pelvic Floor Changes and Nervous System Regulation — then learn to apply it: Sleep & Recovery, Cardiovascular Health, Safe Asana Adaptations and Breathwork. Every module is built on Evidence-Informed Teaching and real Clinical Decision-Making, not guesswork.
Graduates don't just memorise a list of "safe poses." They understand why the body changes through Perimenopause, Menopause and Postmenopause — so they can adapt with confidence for the woman in front of them, instead of leaning on a generic sequence.
Ideal For
- Yoga Teachers / Yoga Therapists
- Physiotherapists
- Fitness Professionals
- Pilates Instructors
- Nutritionists
- Health Coaches
Also Suitable For
Women experiencing Perimenopause or Menopause who have maintained a regular yoga practice for at least six months are also welcome to join. If you want to better understand your changing body, hormones and yoga practice — not necessarily to teach, but to support your own health — this programme is designed for you.
This is an advanced training, so we do not teach basic asanas. Participants should already have a strong foundation in yoga practice before joining.
How You Can Apply This Specialisation
Teach menopause-informed yoga classes
Design and lead menopause-specific sessions for groups or private clients, grounded in physiology rather than assumption — from your own studio, a corporate wellness setting, or an existing practice.
Adapt existing classes for women in midlife, adjusting sequencing, pacing and cueing for changing energy, joints and bone density.
Support private clients within scope of practice, including knowing when to refer a student to her doctor.
Integrate menopause literacy into fitness, physiotherapy or wellness work — relevant menopause training for fitness professionals, coaches and clinicians alike.
Continue into advanced women's hormone-health education, such as Stri Wellness's 300-Hour Hormone Alchemy training.
